Acceptable Use Policy
Participation in Your Water and your use of the Your Water website is subject to the following Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to amend or change these Terms and Conditions, so please ensure you read these Terms and Conditions regularly. By joining the Community or using any associated Your Water websites, you accept that you must abide by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Ownership of the panel.
The Your Water Community , is operated by ResearchBods Online Ltd a company registered in England under company number 07642707 with a registered office at Matthew Murray House, 97 Water Lane, Leeds, LS11 5QN. United Kingdom. (â€œweâ€, â€œusâ€, â€œourâ€). We operate the Site on behalf of Yorkshire Water Services Limited (YWSL) and Trinity McQueen (TM). 2. Membership of the Panel.
Membership of the Community is restricted to individuals aged 18 or over. Employees of YWSL and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and immediate family are not eligible to join. Membership is free and is personal to you. You may not transfer your membership to anyone else. YWSL reserves the right to refuse any membership applications and/or terminate membership without giving a reason. This website and the Community is provided on an â€œas isâ€ and â€œas availableâ€ basis. YWSL does not accept any liability for any content, including, but not limited to, errors or omissions in any content, or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Community. YWSL does not provide warranties of any kind express or implied. YWSL shall not be liable for any losses, costs or expenses, howsoever caused, arising out of your membership of the Community (including indirect, consequential or incidental losses, costs or damages).
You can terminate your membership of this Community at any time, by clicking unsubscribe in any email correspondence you receive from the Your Water team. YWSL will close the Community when the research programme ends or is cancelled. YWSL will inform all Community members by email of the Community being closed, at which point your access to it will cease. YWSL also reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to immediately and without notice, suspend or terminate your Community membership, or your ability to access the Community upon any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions.

We may publish, check, edit or remove all or part of the comments or other material, including your name, town and country, which you submit to us at our sole discretion. We are not obliged to do any of these things and we may not. You retain any copyright you may have in any material you submit to us. By submitting material to us, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive worldwide licence to use, copy, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, make available, communicate and distribute that material (in whole or part) and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. To the extent permitted by law, you waive your moral rights (e.g. the right to be identified as author or to object to derogatory treatment) in any material you submit to us.
7. Prize draws.
Unless expressly stated otherwise in a promotionâ€™s specific rules, any promotions that are operated on this website are restricted to residents of Yorkshire aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of YWSL, their immediate families, their agents or anyone professionally connected to the Community. Proof of eligibility must be provided on request. No purchase of any kind is necessary for free prize draws. However, to take part in the prize draw entrants must have participated in and completed the relevant Community and/or Your Water activity. No responsibility is accepted for entries damaged, lost or mislaid and proof of posting/texting or emailing will not be accepted as proof of delivery or receipt. We cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the promotion or as a result of accepting any prize. We are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any sort whatsoever. No applications will be accepted by agents, in bulk or from third parties. All reasonable endeavours will be made to contact the winner. If a winner cannot be contacted or is not available, we reserve the right to re-draw another winner from the correct entries which were received before the closing date Prizes, gifts and other promotional items are as described in our promotional communications, and there is no cash alternative. Prizes may be declared as void if they contain a printing error, or involve a production or distribution error, of any kind. Prize winner(s) will be chosen from all qualifying entries (i) by an independent judge or (ii) as otherwise stated otherwise in a specific promotional rule. The prize winner(s) will be chosen within 28 days of the promotion closing date. Any tie-breakers will be also be judged by an independent judge. Failure to claim a gift, prize or other promotional item within 1 month of notification will make any claim invalid. We will put all unclaimed prizes into a monthly draw to be redrawn at random. Names of winners are available by sending an SAE to Trinity McQueen, Victoria Wharf (3rd Floor), 4 The Embankment, Sovereign Street, Leeds, LS1 4BA, up to one month after the closing date of the relevant promotion. Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and we reserve the right to use the names and addresses of winners, their photographs, audio and/or visual recordings of them and any media submitted by them in relation to any promotion in any publicity. Winners must co-operate fully for publicity purposes if so required.

(a) any action you may take as a result of relying on any information provided on this site or for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result of you taking this action; or
(b) any liability for losses which are not a foreseeable or likely consequence of your use of this site.
If any part or provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of any other part or provision.
These Terms are governed by English law.
The English courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to these Terms.
